Eppy Flinder
Status Alive. Owner and barkeep of the Bastion Inn in Kormor Kirak; has fought the Necrotic Bulk beside Jack and Olivia and is making tea for Jack.
Eppy Flinder owns the Bastion Inn, a two-story hostel with a bar, a dance floor, monster paintings, and a ceiling of unfamiliar constellations. She is a free spirit in her thirties with an earthy aesthetic and sleek, elegantly pointed ears. She mixes her grandmother's honey cocktail, Dewrder Hylifol, and says the imperials live in the new world while her people live in the old. Her ancestors ruled the world so long ago that the world forgot; the few who remain stay alive in secret. She knows what Jack Winbow is.

- She tells Olivia: 'You live in the new world. We live in the old. Never shall they meet.' pilot p. 29
- She whispers something wicked in Jack's ear and dances with him in a fast mix of bluegrass clogging and Irish square dancing. pilot p. 32
