Rozito Vallikozo
Status Alive. Exposed as a necromancer at the Hallaset Fields trailhead, where he murdered a carriage driver and three Red Guards and carved runes to raise a Necrotic Bulk; attacked and mauled by Szeret in leopard form; he survives the attack.
Rozito Vallikozo runs the Kereskedo Market in Kormor Kirak, an official position by royal appointment, dressed in eclectic foreign fabrics and colourful patterns. He plays cards at the Bastion Inn, calls himself a traditionalist, and is Princess Szeret's shopping companion and friend. In the Hallaset Fields he cuts three throats and a Red Guard's, carves runes into a corpse with elegant scalpels, and animates the dead, before the princess he served catches him at it.

What the sources establishEstablished
- Rozito is in his thirties, the Kereskedo Market's resident fixer, and dresses in a mix of foreign fabrics and colourful patterns. pilot p. 17
- He bows to Szeret and calls himself a traditionalist, asks her to tell the queen he is not to blame for her progressive interests, and pleads to a Red Guard that 'She said it! I didn't!' pilot p. 17
- He arranged Szeret's night appointment at the market, which caused the Red Guards to roust the residents of High Street from their beds. pilot pp. 16-17
- He tells Szeret that Feeney, the Albion Counsel, is missing and asks whether she knows anything about it; she does not answer. pilot p. 18
- He plays cards at the Bastion Inn with Jack, Koss, Chulligan, and Pidge, asks Olivia whether she cheated, and tells her Szeret is fascinated by the outside world and loves dancing. pilot pp. 30, 32-33
- He dances with Olivia in her first dance. pilot p. 33
- He accompanies Szeret to the Albion Consulate and to the Hallaset Fields, where he stays with the royal carriage and complains that the cemetery is smelly. pilot pp. 40, 42
- At the trailhead he slits the carriage driver's throat with a hidden blade, kills two Red Guards with thrusts between their armour plates, flings a scalpel to kill a third, and carves bloody runes in the shape of a figure onto the driver's chest. pilot pp. 47, 49
- His runes are of the same kind as those on Feeney's body, and the Necrotic Bulk collapses when he is attacked. pilot pp. 48, 50
- Szeret in leopard form knocks him clear, dodges his thrown scalpels, and mauls him at the carriage; the script's phrase is 'gobbling up Rozito', but he survives the attack (author's ruling; Book Two and the later fiction keep him alive). pilot p. 50
- Eppy says his position running the Kereskedo Market is an official one, a royal appointment; Barron takes this as a bad sign about the queen's confidantes. pilot p. 51
- Book Two confirms him as a royal appointee of Kiraline and a practitioner of necromancy who cannot tell whether the queen permits or tests him. Book Two, 'Character Profiles', Rozito Vallikozo
Said, believed, or contradicted between sourcesRumored or disputed
- Book Two, the grounding sheet, and several published stories and quests treat Rozito as alive and active after the pilot, running the shadow side of the market and waking corpses for a fee; the pilot's own wording of the leopard attack ('gobbling up') reads as fatal, and the author has ruled that it is not. Book Two; EC_GROUNDING_SHEET.md; bloodletter_desk/stories/The_Live_Sack.md; quest_board_desk/quests/The_Second_Tally.md
- Book Two says Barron indirectly steers Rozito's necromancy through the Lich Cult without Rozito knowing; this depends on Book Two's reading of Barron, which the pilot does not support. Book Two, 'NPC Relationship Map', Rozito
- Book Two once calls him 'the famous duelist'; nothing else in any source supports this. Book Two, 'Character Profiles', Szeret
What no source settlesUnestablished
- Who taught Rozito necromancy, and whether he acted alone at the Hallaset Fields or on orders, is not established in the pilot.
- Whether Rozito had anything to do with Feeney's death is not established in any source; only the similarity of the runes links them.

Notes. The pilot kills Rozito on p. 50. Book Two and all later fiction keep him alive as an ongoing NPC; under the priority rules the pilot's outcome stands and the later material is recorded as rumour. Rozito survives the leopard attack at the Hallaset Fields trailhead (Jesse Alexander's ruling, 2026-09-13); the script's 'gobbling up' is not a death.
